After more than 13 hours of emergency rescue, 11 people on board were on board. All crew members were rescued.

  It is understood that at 7:00 on the 29th, the ship "Xinhua X" alerted the Zhanjiang Maritime Search and Rescue Center, saying that the ship was in the coastal waters of Xuwen, that is, near the north entrance of the North Waterway of the Qiongzhou Strait. With a heel of 12 degrees, there is a danger of overturning and sinking at any time. The ship is heading to the waters of Naozhou Island at a speed of about 7 knots to take shelter from the wind. There are 11 crew members on board, requesting emergency assistance.

  After receiving the report, the center immediately activated the emergency plan, verified the danger, and promptly reported to the Guangdong Maritime Search and Rescue Center and the Zhanjiang Municipal People's Government.

At the same time, all crew members of the ship are required to wear life jackets, go to the bridge or deck to prepare for escape, and notify the Xuwen Marine Department to coordinate the two ships near the incident waters to prepare for emergency rescue.

  At 12:10 on the same day, the ship "Xinhua X" arrived at the southwest anchorage waters of Naozhou Island.

Zhanjiang Maritime Search and Rescue Center conducts a comprehensive safety assessment of the dangerous situation, and after fully communicating and studying with the ship, coordinates and arranges the ship in distress to berth at Zhanjiang Port.

  The center assigned the East Sea Island Maritime Department to send the "Hai Xun 09047" boat to escort the whole process, to drive away the fishing boats that obstructed navigation in time, and to make preparations for emergency response; "There is a sudden abnormality during the voyage of the ship; the Zhanjiang Ship Traffic Management Center is coordinated to implement temporary traffic control on the channel waters, and the dynamic monitoring of the ship is carried out throughout the process to ensure the safety of ships in distress entering the port and berthing.

  At about 20:25 on the 29th, the ship "Xinhua X" successfully berthed at the dock, and the 11 crew members on board escaped safely.

It is reported that the ship "Xinhua X" in distress is 86.5 meters long, 12.8 meters wide, and has a gross tonnage of 2,085. This voyage departs from Beihai, Guangxi to Changzhou, Jiangsu, with 2,000 tons of glass products on board.
