The crisis of American cinema, which has become enslaved by the left, "progressive" ideology, is becoming more and more noticeable every year.

Of course, Hollywood has always been more left than right: Senator McCarthy was not so wrong when he looked for secret sympathizers of the Communist Party and admirers of Trotsky in its pavilions, although the scale of the conspiracy he imagined increased many times under the influence of alcohol vapors.

But that was a time when different views were still allowed to coexist in the Hollywood hills.

In recent years, the so-called Wookism has finally and irrevocably established itself in the status of the only possible ideology of the “dream factory”.

The notorious agenda that every thriller, fantasy saga, musical or animated film must necessarily feature racially diverse characters with a multigender identity creeps in from all the cracks and turns even seemingly completely win-win plots into a dull something.

A fresh example here is Amazon's Rings of Power, about which Elon Musk sneered: “Tolkien is turning over in his grave ... every male character is either a coward, or a moron, or both.

Only Galadriel is brave, smart and sweet."

As a result, the overall quality of Hollywood productions declined significantly, much to the dismay of moviegoers.

After all, we all once loved American cinema - and for good reason.

Now, the Voukists, who have settled in the leadership of large studios, the boards of foundations and the editorial offices of influential newspapers, are strangling freedom of creativity no worse than the Soviet censors from Goskino, who stood guard over the Marxist-Leninist doctrine.

And the creators themselves - directors, screenwriters and actors - are so saturated with the "progressive spirit" that they are ready to devour anyone who expresses an opinion that runs counter to the "party line".

Remember how revealingly the stars of the epic about the Harry Potter she invented J.K. Rowling renounced, as soon as the progressives accused her of disrespecting the rights of transgender people?

But there is, it turns out, another Hollywood - being in the absolute minority, but making films that are really interesting to watch.

On Wednesday, one such film was released on streaming channels and has already caused a sensation.

Everyone is discussing it - both the right (with delight) and the left (with indignation).

The trailer of this film was watched by 4.5 million on the day of the premiere. No wonder: after all, the film "My Son Hunter" is dedicated to the son of the President of the United States, who almost frustrated his father's plans.

In this film, the synopsis is enticing, you will find sex, prostitution, drugs, nepotism, money laundering, more sex, a "laptop from hell", Chinese spies, Ukrainian businessmen, the Chinese Communist Party, selling out America, Big Guy (as Joe was called in private conversations). Biden), more sex, more drugs...and also the Family.

That's right, with a capital letter.

Do I need to specify whose family is meant?

The premiere of the film took place in a small hall in a not very prestigious area of Los Angeles.

Instead of cocktails and expensive snacks, the bar had bottled water and big buckets of popcorn.

And the prizes of the quiz, in which the guests participated, were a large glass hookah for smoking hashish and a generous portion of grated parmesan.

A more than transparent hint: the hero of the film, Hunter Biden, admitted that he once became so stupefied from cocaine that he tried to smoke what spaghetti was sprinkled with ...

Despite the modest scale of the event, the audience gathered quite status - there were Dean Cain (who played the role of Superman in the series "Lois and Clark"), and Nick Searcy - the star of the series "Justice".

Oscar winner Jon Voight was expected, but didn't show up.

“Think of it as a MAGA set for the film industry,” ironically the author of an article in Politico, who visited the premiere.

But no, these are far from all the figures in the film industry who oppose the liberal wowkist agenda that has subjugated Hollywood.

Two years ago, Irish producer Felim McAleer staged a play called FBI Lovers, which tells about the scandalous office romance of Peter Stroke and Lisa Page, two bureau agents who hated Trump and fabricated false documents in the “Russian case”.

Gina Carano, who plays a Secret Service agent guarding the son of a U.S. vice president, has herself become a victim of cancellation culture.

The Mandalorian star and former MMA champion has long been in a bad rap with liberals.

The last straw was her post on Instagram *, where Carano posted a photo of the Jewish pogrom in Lviv in 1941 - a woman in her underwear, screaming, runs away from Ukrainian neighbors armed with clubs.

And she compared the persecution of Jews with the persecution of dissidents (that is, those who do not share "progressive" views) in modern America.

“She is transphobic, anti-mask, alt-right, echoing QAnon conspiracy theories.

She doesn't believe in systematic racism and now shares anti-Semitic images!"

fans of the Star Wars franchise choked with hatred, demanding that Disney fire Carano.

The film moguls did not dare to go against the will of the progressive masses - and Carano was thrown out of The Mandalorian.

Lukasfilm announced that it was terminating her contract because "her social media posts that denigrate people based on their cultural and religious affiliation are disgusting and unacceptable."

The performer of the role of Hunter Biden himself, Lawrence Fox, enjoys the fame of a brawler in his native UK, encroaching on the foundations of society.

The list of his crimes is even longer than that of Carano: he posted on Twitter an LGBT rainbow flag with a Nazi swastika (for this he was offended not only by non-traditionally oriented citizens, but also figures from the Holocaust Remembrance Foundation), he dared to say to his black colleague that not Black Lives Matter, but All Lives Matter (a colleague immediately tipped off him on Twitter, and Fox was blocked there), he even participated in a protest against covid quarantine in March 2021 and did not hesitate to admit that he is (terrible to say!) anti-vaccine !

So, they found each other - all these rebels and dissidents of the modern politically correct world.

And their team, led by director Robert Davi (a conservative Republican, a staunch supporter of Trump, who believes that the media "are the third arm of the Marxist-Communist revolution in America"), proved: alternative Hollywood, despite the almost beggarly budgets by the standards of giant studios ( $2.5 million was crowdfunded for the filming of "My Son Hunter" - almost ten times less than the budget for one episode of "House of Dragons"), can make a spectacular, dynamic, fun movie.

We must pay tribute to the creators - "My son Hunter" does not look like a cheap craft at all.

It was filmed mainly in Serbia: firstly, it is cheaper there, and secondly, many of the events of the film take place in Ukraine, and for the American audience, Belgrade and Kyiv are different,

And as the film's producer Phelim McAleer explained, "It takes strip bars and lots of beautiful women to accurately portray the life of Hunter Biden.

Serbia has a lot of both.”

Women - from secret agents to strippers - there really are a lot of women in the film.

In one of the key scenes, Hunter Biden, Viktor Yushchenko and Ukrainian Minister of Natural Resources Mykola Zlochevsky are having fun with prostitutes in luxurious interiors: the piquancy of the episode is added by the fact that in parallel they discuss the entry of the son of the US vice president to the board of directors of the gas company Burisma.

“I believe that my help and advice from Burisma on issues of transparency, corporate governance and responsibility will benefit both the economy and the people of Ukraine,” Hunter Biden solemnly says, without stopping having sex with a Ukrainian priestess of love.

The main character of the film, liberal activist and stripper Grace (Emma Gojkovic), goes from falling in love with the president's son to being completely disappointed in him.

At the film's climax, a month before the presidential election, Grace tells an influential newspaper reporter that she has tapes confessing Hunter Biden to corruption involving his father, the Big Guy.

“Joe gets a percentage of the deals and influences foreign policy decisions in favor of these companies and governments,” she convinces the reporter.

But instead of seizing on the sensation, the journalist rejects Grace's help.

“We have a chance to overthrow the fascist dictator,” he condescendingly explains to her.

“No newsroom in the country will accept your Russian disinformation.”

Yes, such words really sound in a film shot in 2022 in the USA!

The creators of "My Son Hunter" directly say that the truth about the corruption schemes of the vice president (and now the president) was not needed by anyone and was swept aside as "Russian disinformation".

And this makes a much stronger impression than all the sexual and drug adventures of Hunter Biden, perhaps also because Fox embodies on the screen the image of a vicious, but in his own way charming and intelligent guy.

Surprisingly, Biden Sr. does not look like a completely negative character in the film either.

Experienced John James (star of the Dynasty TV series) even flattered the president: a cheerful, energetic, slightly comical leader of a crime family compares favorably with a decrepit old man who greets the void, over which half the world laughs.

The main evil in the film is not who, but what: corruption, which has become the norm for the Biden family, on the one hand, and the open unwillingness of the liberal society to pay attention to it, on the other.

What does it really matter that the president is raking in millions from the Ukrainian budget and making shady deals with the Chinese communists in less than five minutes?

After all, the main thing is to prevent the second term of the "fascist dictator" Trump.

And for the sake of this, you can close your eyes to ... Yes, to everything!

that without five minutes the president is rowing millions from the Ukrainian budget and making dark deals with the Chinese communists?

Perhaps the main drawback of the film "My Son Hunter" is the dialogue, written heavily and without brilliance.

But it’s not the screenwriter’s fault: most of the phrases that Biden’s father and son utter in the frame are taken either from Hunter’s memoirs or from files stored on his computer and made public after the “laptop from hell” scandal leaked in the media.

Left-wing critics, of course, immediately lashed out at the film, accusing it of being "unartistic".

“I suspect that the makers of this film wanted to make a political statement and frame it in artistic terms, instead of creating art that would also be political,” writes, for example, Ben Sixsmith on the website of the British The Spectator.

It would be better if they made a documentary.

Nothing would be lost, and the meaning would become clearer.

The crafty critic does not specify that a documentary about Biden would have been watched by a hundred times fewer viewers than a dynamic and exciting feature film.

And “My son Hunter”, although not yet available on the cheapest subscription, has every chance of becoming super popular.

It appeared two months before the November congressional elections, when many wavering Americans will have to decide who to support after all: the “progressive” Biden Democrats or the Trumpist Republicans.

They say that if in the fall of 2020 the majority of voters became aware of Hunter's "hellish laptop", then Sleepy Joe would not be sitting in the White House at all.

But then the Internet giants, having agreed among themselves, blocked the dissemination of this information in social networks.

What if what the people of Trump did not succeed two years ago will succeed in a team of dissidents from Hollywood in 2022?

In the end, as V.I.

Lenin, "the most important of the arts for us is cinema" - and over the past century nothing has fundamentally changed here: the necessary meanings are still laid in the minds of the audience through pictures moving on the screen.
