Ryan Gosling is slated to play Ghost Rider, Marvel's biker antihero known for his fiery head and bad temper...and apparently Kevin Feige is totally up for it!

The MCU architect was asked about this possibility by MTV News and the question didn't come up entirely by chance.

Ryan Gosling himself said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that he would love to play the biker from hell.

And the producer is delighted.

“Hey, if Ryan wants to be Ghost Rider, then…” he said, leaving the end of his sentence hanging.

There is no doubt that at Disney, we are already busy negotiating a contract with the superstar.

But beware, Ryan Gosling has competition for the role of Ghost Rider, since Norman Reedus would apparently also be up for the role (and the studded leather jacket).

But Kevin Feige only has eyes for whoever will play Ken in the next

movie .

“Gosling is amazing.

Ryan is amazing… I would love to find a place for him in the MCU.

He's dressed up as Ken on Venice Beach and gets more press than the giant movies coming out that weekend.

It's amazing,” added Kevin Feige.

Ryan Gosling recently denied being cast as Nova, another Marvel superhero, in a movie slated for "Phase 5" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“I was the wrong choice, but I would love to do a superhero movie,” he simply told MTV News.

Will he be the "right choice" for Ghost Rider?
