There had been speculation about this for weeks, now the US industry service "Variety" reports: Ryan Gosling will sing his song "I'm Just Ken" from the film "Barbie" live at the Oscars.
An official confirmation from the Oscar Academy is still pending.
The 96th Academy Awards will take place on March 10th in Los Angeles.
Gosling is nominated twice for “Barbie”: for best supporting actor and for best song.
Billie Eilish probably has the best chance of winning the award for best song.
She is nominated for “What Was I Made For?”
The song also comes from the “Barbie” soundtrack.
