US actor Jonathan Majors (34, “Creed III – Rocky's Legacy”) does not have to go to prison. In a trial he was accused of assault and domestic violence. In December, a jury in New York found him guilty of two of four counts.

Now the sentence has been announced. Majors was able to avoid prison. He faced up to a year in prison.

Instead, the actor must complete a year-long training program for violent offenders in Los Angeles, prosecutors said. He also needs to undergo therapy. The court's conditions also include a ban on contact with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

After an argument with her, Majors was arrested in a car in the New York borough of Manhattan in March 2023. According to media reports, the actor received a text message, after which Jabbari asked to see the cell phone, assuming that the message came from another woman. A physical altercation ensued. At the trial, Majors and Jabbari blamed each other through their lawyers.

Majors played a leading role in the boxing drama "Creed III" and appeared in the cinema as the supervillain Kang in the Marvel film "Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania". The actor was predicted to have a dazzling career in the Marvel universe. After the conviction in December, the studio parted ways with him. He was actually scheduled for at least two more film projects in the superhero universe.
