The ongoing visit of Sergey Lavrov to Africa (a few hours ago, the Russian Foreign Minister arrived in Ethiopia) haunts the United States.

True to their twisted logic, when everything that is not the West is considered the world's periphery, these descendants of slave owners try to evaluate what is happening in the categories they are used to.

“It becomes clear that Russia is aware that its actions (in Ukraine. -

S.A.

) lead to her becoming an outcast,” State Department spokesman Ned Price blurted out.

Like, all the numerous contacts of Russians with the third world - Africans, Arabs, Persians or Chinese - are not considered, and the main and only worthy political counterparty, the West, sent Moscow to ignore.

National exceptionalism as it is.

Well, it is not the first time for Russia to break off arrogant neighbors on the planet.

So it will be this time.

In fact, we are talking, of course, about the competition of the superpowers for political influence on the Black Continent.

Frightened by Moscow's activity, Washington even hastened to draft a special law "On countering Russia's malicious activities in Africa" in the spring.

The document involves a regular assessment of the "scale and directions" of Russia's actions and the development of response measures, among which, of course, "bringing to account the governments of African countries and their officials who support Moscow's "hostile influence and activities."

Personal sanctions so beloved by Washington now!

Yes, even on level ground.

The "maliciousness" sewn right into the heading of the law is striking.

Like, everything that Moscow does is against the interests and benefits of America, which means evil.

Evil Empire?

We remember, we remember old man Reagan.

However, the dog barks, and the caravan moves on.

For several years now, Russia has again paid close attention to the African continent and is not going to stop.

Based on the results of the first half of Lavrov's visit, some conclusions can already be drawn.

Moscow clearly wants to take all the best that distinguished cooperation with African countries during the Soviet period and add pragmatism.

So, with the Congo, it was decided to lay an economic basis for cooperation.

Prospects are outlined: hydrocarbons, energy, transport infrastructure, telecommunications, military and military-technical cooperation.

Still would!

The actions of the Russian army in the Syrian and Ukrainian theaters of operations are the best advertisement for our capabilities.

The help of the Russian Federation in the fight against a new fashionable infection - monkeypox - will also come in handy.

Even more important is the humanitarian aspect of cooperation, which has long-term consequences.

The quota of Congolese students for education in Russia is the third on the continent.

Over the years, many thousands of students have been educated in our country, including Lavrov's counterpart at the talks, Foreign Minister Jean-Claude Gacosso.

Moreover, the upcoming exit of the Russian Federation from the Bologna system, paradoxically, is beneficial for both Brazzaville and Moscow, as it will eliminate the brain drain to the West.

Young people, having become specialists, will return home, to the Congo, or, in extreme cases, settle down and work with us, strengthening bilateral ties.

Tender memories of youth, as you know, remain with a person forever.

Having matured, having taken key positions in their countries, the Russian Congolese will become reliable friends of Moscow for years to come.

And this applies to all countries of the continent.

The latter circumstance will be of key importance in the reformatting of the world, which will probably continue throughout the 21st century.

Russia will need friends to deal with challenges with a similar understanding of the central importance of the UN to the international order.

African countries can be our most sincere support group.

Oppressed for centuries by the West, which exported slaves and resources from the continent, killed and maimed local residents, dooming the local population to starvation, they are filled with human gratitude to the Russians, who behaved in a completely different way: they built roads, airfields, power plants, schools, hospitals.

Dozens of African countries are dozens of votes in the UN, where each country, the US hegemon or little Uganda, has one vote.

Together we will overcome the hypocritical West.

We are already overcoming.

During his African visit, Lavrov repeatedly stressed that Moscow stands for the democratization of international relations, equal cooperation, against diktat, ultimatums and blackmail in relations between sovereign countries.

While the West uses man-made conflicts for its own political purposes.

For Africa, one of the most obvious examples is Libya.

Bombed flourishing country, where justice reigned, after the assassination of Gaddafi turned into a medieval territory, where everyone is at war against everyone.

Incidentally, the President of the Congo, Denis Sassou Nguesso, is personally involved in the Libyan settlement.

Thus, he initiated an all-Libyan conference on national reconciliation, where everyone will be invited, and not just a select few, as the West wants.

And Russia will help in the organization.

Naturally, Western diplomats are now actively intriguing against Russia on the African continent, trying to cast a shadow on our country with the help of the Ukrainian crisis.

As usual, they do not shy away from direct lies.

They beat (that's because shameless!) in the most painful place - they claim that because of the special operation of Russia, the world, and therefore, first of all, its poorest part - Africa - is waiting for hunger.

Lavrov explained that Moscow did not create any obstacles for the export of Ukrainian grain, and Russian strikes on the military infrastructure of the Odessa port had nothing to do with the export of grain.

They are needed to secure our Black Sea Fleet.

The causes of the food crisis began to take shape at least three years ago in connection with the erroneous policy of Western states, our diplomat explained.

The same applies to energy carriers.

The same global issues (as well as local, but the most large-scale issues of bilateral cooperation such as the construction of a nuclear power plant and the Russian industrial zone in the Suez Canal area), the head of our Foreign Ministry patiently explained in Egypt.

In general, points on the map for visiting were chosen with great knowledge of the matter.

Indeed, it is in Cairo, among other things, that the headquarters of the League of Arab States is located, and in Ethiopia - the African Union, which unites the entire Black Continent.

The chairman of the African Union, the leader of Senegal, Maki Sall, flew in, let me remind you, to talk to Vladimir Putin at the beginning of the summer.

Obviously, Lavrov's visit takes place in the development of that meeting.

It is not difficult to guess what the “general line” of Moscow is now.

This is a policy of counteracting new colonialism, both in their own interests and in the interests of other countries of the world, including African ones.

We have, you know, a great tradition of this approach.

In the model of liberal globalism implanted by the West, Putin sees "an updated edition of neo-colonialism."

In fact, this is nothing more than "an American world, a world for the elite, in which the rights of everyone else are simply violated."

They are destined for the role of consumables, a source of resources.

Whether it's Ukraine or someone else.

The value of Russia as a partner for the countries of Africa, first of all, is that it pursues a sovereign policy and can achieve its goals without asking anyone for permission.

Heavy fetters will fall... The second Russia-Africa summit is ahead.
