At the post-screening meeting, director Zhang Chiyu and other actors including Shen Teng and Ma Li appeared, sharing the story behind the filming with the audience.

　　It is reported that "On the Moon" tells that in order to resist the impact of asteroids and save the earth, human beings have deployed the moon shield plan on the moon.

The meteorite struck early, and when all the staff were evacuated urgently, the maintenance worker Duguyue (Shen Teng) missed the evacuation notice from the team leader Ma Lanxing (Ma Li) because of an accident, and landed on the moon alone.

However, the failure of the Moon Shield plan made Duguyue "the last human being in the universe", which started his solitary life on the moon with the "King Kong Mouse" who was also alone.

　　[Explanation] As a sci-fi film, the crew used 15 studios totaling over 40,000 square meters. 95% of the shots involved special effects. At the same time, in order to simulate the real moon surface, 200 tons of sand were laid in the 6,000-square-meter studio. The stone simulates lunar dust, and builds a lunar base with 100% real scenes.

Because of the character setting, Shen Teng wore a 40-pound spacesuit almost throughout the film, hanging Weiya, simulating walking, crawling and rolling on the moon.

Partner Ma Li said that this was a challenge to Shen Teng's body, and she hoped that Shen Teng's wonderful acting would make the film win the grand prize.
