The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai organized its humanitarian initiative “Eid Joy” on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, with the aim of making orphans and needy children happy by distributing Eidiya and gifts in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent, and the “BabyShop” from the Landmark Group, where Eid clothes and gifts were distributed About shopping vouchers for participating children in addition to entertainment activities.

The events were organized in the children's shop at City Center Mirdif, where a team of volunteers from the authority and employees of the children's shop participated in choosing gifts and Eid clothes for the participants, and volunteers from the authority and the Red Crescent staff distributed shopping vouchers to children at the Emirates Red Crescent headquarters in Dubai.

Rawda Al-Mahrazi, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication Department in the Institutional Administrative Support Services Sector at the authority, affirmed the authority's keenness to actively participate through social, humanitarian and charitable activities in various occasions, for the role of these events in consolidating the values ​​of giving and giving, and its role in bringing joy and pleasure to the hearts of children and their families .

Al-Mahrazi praised the role of volunteers from the authority’s employees in this humanitarian initiative and their participation and interaction with the children during the distribution of gifts and the selection of Eid clothing, noting that making people happy is one of the strategic goals of the authority, which is keen to implement it effectively and continuously, and the authority’s approach is not limited to making its customers happy Users of mass transportation and beneficiaries of the authority’s services are citizens, residents, visitors and tourists only, but its initiatives reach children and families in need in less fortunate communities outside the country.
