On July 14, the reporter visited Ou Chengbin in the exhibition hall.

[Explanation] Picking up the gray headgear, gently brushing the dust off the surface, Ou Chengbin carefully put the headgear back to its original place.

Wrinkles and white hair have left marks on Ou Chengbin, who is overly old, but his "obsession" with Fujian opera has not diminished in the slightest.

At the age of 8, he entered the Fuzhou Art School to specialize in Min opera. At the age of 10, he entered the Hongqi Min Opera Troupe of Fuzhou City. At the age of 40, he re-formed the Suburban Min Opera Troupe. Although he was 71 years old, Ou Chengbin was still fighting on the front line and served as the director of the Min Opera Troupe of Jin'an District.

The costumes shown here are all the costumes of the Min opera. These costumes have their own characteristics and uses. They are mainly adapted to the stage. Of course, the Min opera is also being updated during the process of change. The costumes I show here are generally In terms of things that belonged to 30 years ago, this is a makeup box with an age, and this one is before the forties. In fact, we went to Yongtai to buy it back. There are also cosmetics in Baotou. Then these things are the stage. At least the things that were used in the past and the things that were changed are left here for more than 30 years.

[Explanation] For more than 60 years in the arts, Ou Chengbin has cultivated himself into a generalist who can direct, act, and create.

He said that Fujian opera is indispensable in life, and it is also inseparable.

In 2019, in the Cultural Center of Shipai Village, Shoushan Township, the first "Rural Stage" premiered in Jin'an District.

The actors are from the village and the actors are from the village.

In the process of leading the villagers to rehearse the Min opera, Ou Chengbin found a new idea for the inheritance of Min opera.

He took the lead in transforming the backstage of Shipai Village's "Rural Stage" into an intangible cultural heritage (Min Opera) exhibition hall in Jin'an District, using more than 200 data pictures, more than 450 documents and objects to show the "past and present" of Min Opera.

Helping rural construction is part of our purpose of building the museum, because as a culture, it should be said that assisting rural construction is still a very desirable place, and then this place is also a place with a relatively high cultural heritage, and the villagers here also love it. Min Opera, so I have formed dozens of Min Opera fanciers in this place, and they are all learning Min Opera, and all of them are participating in Min Opera performances, so we thought it was very meaningful when the museum was built. The purpose is also to promote Min Opera and let Min Opera. There are successors.

The key is this.

[Explanation] During the interview, Ou Chengbin said with emotion that the inheritance of Fujian opera is also facing problems such as no successor to actors and audience gaps.

In his view, the protection and inheritance of the art of Min opera requires innovative and creative blessing, keeping up with the pace of the times, and serving the masses.

Last year, his Min dramas "Trash House Storm" and "The Most Beautiful Jin'an People" entered the community in a vivid and humorous way to promote the new fashion of garbage sorting, which was refreshing and the performances were well received.

In addition, the themes of changing customs, sweeping the underworld, and eliminating evil were also written into the Min opera small dramas by him.

We staged garbage sorting into a stage play, which is also a way of Fujian opera. We pulled up a stage car to promote it in various communities. Good people and good deeds established him. In fact, he received great praise.

[Commentary] Putting on the costume and stepping onto the stage, Ou Chengbin is still very energetic. In his opinion, although he has an "indissoluble bond" with Fujian opera for most of his life, he does not want to stop and be on the stage of Fujian opera. He wanted to leave more pure and wonderful works.

The reporter learned that Min Opera, also known as "Fuzhou Opera", has undergone hundreds of years of transformation and has formed an artistic style that draws on the best of others and is integrated. In 2006, it was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists.
