Among them, Lin Xiumin's cypress carving "Afternoon Time" has soft and delicate lines, the characters are elegant and stretched, and the spirit is complete; Pan Faqing's boxwood work "The Drunken Concubine" has graceful figures, charming appearance, subtle and drunken expressions, vivid and exquisite; Ye Guoqiang's boxwood sculpture "Charterer" is novel in concept and close to life, and the characters' dynamics and charm are lifelike and lifelike; Wang Linbao's camphor wood sculpture "Dharma" is extremely realistic in depiction, with vivid and expressive facial expressions, elegant hem in the wind, and more detailed processing It is meticulous and meticulous; Hou Heyan's sculpture "Strive for the Top" has an exaggerated and novel shape, with bold and powerful lines; Yue Qin's camphor wood sculpture "Upright" has a majestic and tall figure, a calm face and sharp lines.

  Huang Wenming, director of the Fujian Strait Folk Art Museum, told reporters that this exhibition aims to promote the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage, explore the unique style of Fuzhou Xiangyuan wood carvings, and feel the inheritance of the craftsman spirit. "The exhibited works integrate traditional wood carving techniques and new era cultural elements. From portrait sculptures to landscape paintings, each wood carving is endowed with the characteristics of the times."

  After more than a thousand years of inheritance and development, Fuzhou Xiangyuan wood carving craftsmanship has formed a complete set of technological processes with a clear inheritance line. Woodcarving artists in the new era have kept upright, innovated, and brought forth new ideas, creating batches of woodcarving works with rich themes and splendid colors, enriching Fuzhou's regional craft culture.
