  Our veterinarian came over and first measured the leg(s), the length of the front leg, the back leg and the carapace, the entire waist circumference, and then checked the feces(s), the condition of the head, and the small size of the tortoise shell. It is unhealthy for the gap to look healthy with a flashlight. Their weight has grown by 9 kilograms in the two months since then. Both of them are giant tortoises. One of them weighs 106 kilograms.

  [Explanation] Through the on-site inspection, the veterinarian judged that the two tortoises were in good health, and then took the collected tortoise feces back to the veterinary hospital for laboratory analysis to further determine the tortoise’s physical condition.

It is reported that these two tortoises have been in the Yunnan Wildlife Park for two months. Through this physical examination, the staff can accurately manage them and make them more adaptable to the new living environment.
