"Choi"

The character of Viktor Tsoi in the film by Alexei Uchitel is not.

The leader of the Kino group appears only in a few short newsreels.

The events unfold around the bus driver, whom the musician's Moskvich collided with in August 1990.

According to the plot, it is he, accompanied by relatives of Tsoi, who carries the coffin with the body of the deceased from Jurmala to Leningrad.

At the same time, before the tragic accident, the driver was not familiar with the artist's work.

The main part of the film is fiction, even the names of the characters in it have been changed.

First of all, "Tsoi" is a fantasy of the authors of the tape about what this journey could be.

According to the teacher, he sought to show the Tsoi phenomenon - how an artist and his work affect people and make them better.

“To understand some kind of greatness and magic of this person was the main thing for us.

The relationship of people, this is an unusual situation - one does not know who Tsoi is, and everyone else does not know who he is.

And this psychology - for us it was in the first place, ”- explained the director.

The main role in the project was played by Evgeny Tsyganov.

The key female characters were played by Mariana Spivak and Paulina Andreeva.

The prototypes of their heroines were Tsoi's wife Marianna and his last lover Natalya.

"Dear comrades!"

Andrey Konchalovsky's tape takes place in Novocherkassk in the summer of 1962.

Then the increase in food prices coincided with a decrease in the wages of the workers of the local factory, and the townspeople took to the demonstration.

The Novocherkassk riot cost the lives of dozens of people: some died during the harsh crackdown on the demonstration, others were sentenced to death after the trial.

The film is based on real events, but Konchalovsky emphasizes that the central place in the film is occupied by the fate of a generation that had to face the collapse of the familiar picture of the world.

This topic is revealed by the example of the heroine Yulia Vysotskaya.

Her character Lyudmila Semina is an employee of the city party committee.

She does not share the position of the workers and takes her privileged position for granted.

However, when her daughter disappears in the midst of the strike, the heroine reconsiders her views on life.

The film was awarded a special jury prize at the Venice Film Festival.

"One More" (Druk)

Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen again relied on cooperation with Thomas Winterberg and did not lose.

In 2012, at the Cannes Film Festival, the film "Hunt" brought the actor a prize for Best Actor, and the director - an ecumenical jury award.

The painting "One more at a time" was announced in the main program of this film screening in 2020, but the event was canceled.

Nevertheless, the tape has already collected awards at the San Sebastian festival and audience awards at the London and Ghent shows.

In the story, four friends-teachers performed by Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang and Lars Rante want to change their monotonous lives.

They undertake to test on themselves the pseudoscientific hypothesis that a person allegedly constantly lacks half a ppm of alcohol in his blood, and this level must be maintained by external infusions.

Over the course of the experiment, the career, family relationships and health status of the heroes change, but not at all as originally intended.

Winterberg emphasizes that the message of the tape is not limited to savoring alcoholic themes.

“This film is not only about drinking.

We set out to make a film about life in general, ”said the director.

The melancholic mood of the picture is partly due to Winterberg's personal tragedy: "One more" the director dedicated to his daughter, who died last year at the age of 19.

"Game" (Freaky)

High school student Millie (Catherine Newton) is far from the most popular girl in school.

Guys are only interested in her as an object of ridicule, classmates look down on her.

One day, the heroine encounters a maniac nicknamed the Butcher from Blissfield (Vince Vaughn) and suddenly changes bodies with him.

Millie needs to fix the situation in the next 24 hours so as not to stay in the body of a serial killer forever.

The butcher, meanwhile, is plotting to arrange a massacre at the alumni meeting.

The director of the film, Christopher Landon, is familiar to the audience from the comedy horror "Happy Day of Death".

He previously wrote scripts for a number of films in the Paranormal franchise and directed the spin-off Paranormal: Mark of the Devil.

In the USA, "The Game" will be released on Friday, November 13th, and in Russia, fans of horror films will be able to appreciate the film from Thursday.

"Dangerous element" (Radioactive)

The collection of biopics about scientists, which in recent years has been supplemented by the films War of Currents, Tesla, The Imitation Game and films about Stephen Hawking, has been supplemented by a picture about Maria Sklodowska-Curie.

The original title of the film ("Radioactivity") coincides with the term that the scientist proposed to describe the properties of some elements discovered by her.

Sklodowska-Curie is known as the first woman whose scientific achievements were awarded the Nobel Prize.

The Iranian-born director Marzhan Satrapi covers several diverse topics in his film: this is the researcher's personal life and her scientific activities, as well as the influence that Curie's discoveries had on history.

RogerEbert.com columnists Christy Lemire and The Guardian Peter Bradshaw agreed that the attempt to cover all the topics led to problems with the structure of the narrative.

However, both praise the lead role played by Rosamund Pike (Pride and Prejudice, Gone Girl).

Lemir also notes that in the end, the tape reaches a level of difficulty worthy of the main character.

It is interesting that the screenwriter of the picture Jack Thorne took as its basis the graphic novel by Lauren Redniss, which was nominated for the US National Book Award.

"Directly Kakha!"

The first episodes of the show "Directly Kakha" were posted online back in 2012.

Since then, four seasons of the project have been released.

Its creators today continue to publish materials that are gaining millions of views.

The general producer of the new feature film, Alexei Trotsyuk, believes that the potential of the Internet series will help create a large-scale film franchise in the future.

The first tape, which comes out this week, is dedicated to the story of love, friendship and cars.

The main character, a resident of Sochi named Kakha, dreams of winning the heart of the beautiful Sofa.

To do this, he will have to defeat another fan of the girl, Ruslan, in a fair fight.

He offers Kaha a car race.

The problem is that the main character drives a “kopeck”, while his rival has a powerful foreign car at his disposal.

Artyom Kalaydzhyan, who played the role of Kakha's friend Sergo, notes that in the film Sochi is shown not as a modern resort, but as a colorful city with a special way of life.
