Where to see Barbie (8 nominations)
Barbie
has grabbed many headlines in the
2024 Oscar nominations
.
Not so much because of the eight candidates that she has accumulated as because of the lack of two of them.
Both its director (
Greta Gerwig
) and the main protagonist (
Margot Robbie
) have been left out of it.
Something that has even outraged
Ryan Gosling
(he is nominated) who has pointed out: "There is no Ken without Barbie, and there is no 'Barbie' movie without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie."
