The hive is a magical place.

Here lived Chagall, Fernand Léger, Soutine, Zadkine, or Modigliani… La Ruche, a famous city of artists born in 1902 south of Montparnasse, has helped to make Paris shine.

It has since resisted the onslaught of time and real estate developers.

Still standing, and very much alive, it will soon be restored.
