An event to experience "Tokaido Nakagiri Kurige" Shizuoka October 19, 1:55

An event was held in Shizuoka City to experience the world of "Tokaido Nakagiri Kurige", a travelogue of the Edo period.

"Tokaido Nakagiri Kurige" written by Jippensha Ikku in the Edo period is a memoir about famous places by Mr. Yaji and Mr. Kita, and related places are certified as Japan Heritage by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.



An event sponsored by an NPO corporation was held in Shizuoka City on the 18th so that fans could experience the story, and fans walked along the Tokaido where the two Yaji Kita visited.



Among them, at "Koike House", which is a nationally registered tangible cultural property and has the taste of an old folk house, the guide explained about the mechanism to feel the taste from the sound of water echoing in the bamboo tube installed in the garden, and also appeared in the work. I enjoyed eating the sazae pot grilled.



A man in his 60s who participated said, "I think it is very valuable that the old appearance that appeared in the story still remains."



Tokiya Nitta, the chairman of the NPO that sponsored the event, said, "We will work to make people overseas aware of the appeal of Tokaido."
