The Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Noura bint Muhammad Al-Kaabi, held a remote meeting with the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, Nina Korsenic, to discuss strengthening cultural relations and developing aspects of bilateral cooperation.

Al-Kaabi expressed the solidarity of the UAE with Croatia after the earthquake that struck the country, and damaged museums and some cultural places and art galleries, which need rehabilitation and restoration.

Noura Al Kaabi presented the UAE’s experience in the face of “Covid-19”, and the measures taken by the cultural and creative sector to keep society in touch with the artistic and creative movement, as museums, art galleries and dialogue sessions were transferred to the digital space, and libraries also provided millions of e-books to the public for free . She pointed out that the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development conducted a national questionnaire to determine the extent to which the creative sector was affected by the current crisis, and how to support companies and creators to overcome these challenges.
