On March 20, two trains departing from Wuhan, Hubei and Jingzhou, respectively, carried 1087 members of the Guangdong Aid Hubei Epidemic Prevention and Control Medical Team and returned to Guangdong.
In Jingzhou, police cars opened their way to pay tribute, and several passenger cars full of members of the Guangdong Medical Team drove to the high-speed rail station. Citizens waved at the roadside, and many cars honked their horns to bid farewell to the team members. The local medical staff from Hubei came to see them off, thanking the Guangdong team for their efforts.
On the same day, a train was sent from Jingzhou, carrying 564 members of the Guangdong Provincial Support Hubei Jingzhou Coping with New Crown Pneumonia Outbreak Medical Team; a train from Wuhan, carrying the Guangdong Province Supporting Hubei Wuhan Coping with New Coronary Pneumonia Outbreak Medical Team National Emergency Medical Rescue (Guangdong) medical team and a total of 523 members.
