Day after day, the Covid-19 coronavirus, originating in China, is spreading throughout the world. On Friday, February 14, Chinese health authorities announced nearly 64,000 cases of coronavirus detected in mainland China.

Outside of China, including the autonomous regions of Macao and Hong Kong, more than 500 cases of contamination by the epidemic of the coronavirus, officially called Covid-19, have been confirmed in around 30 countries and territories. France, which currently has eleven cases, is the second most affected European country, behind Germany where sixteen cases have been confirmed.

Born in Cuba, Angel Boligán Corbo graduated from the Fine Arts in Havana in 1987. He then went to live in Mexico, where he has lived since 1992. There, he works as a caricaturist for the El Universal Journal, the magazine Conozca Más and the political magazine Humor El Chamuco. He also founded the agency CartonClub, the club of Latin caricature.
