The work that sits on a house wall in Banksy's hometown of Bristol depicts a girl pushing away red flowers and leaves with a snake bell.

In The Guardian, Kelly Woodruff has been interviewed, who is a partner in the Banksy property.

- It appeared on our wall overnight. I was tagged on Facebook where someone wrote, is this your property? Says Kelly Woodruff to The Guardian.

Concern for the future of the artwork

She also says she wants to protect the work so that it won't be destroyed, especially since the Dennis storm is expected to come to the UK this weekend.

- We really want to preserve the work, but he has given us some headaches. The first is to put plexiglass over so everyone can see it and then get professional advice. It's been a crazy day, with lots of people coming and enjoying it, we want people to keep doing it.

It was unclear at first whether Banksy actually did the work.

- There's been a lot of debate about whether it's a Bansky or not. Most people I've talked to 100% believe it is, and they have given it the name "the Valentine's Banksy". It is incredible and beautiful, Kelly Woodruff tells The Guardian.

The artist later confirmed on Instagram that he is the one doing the artwork.
