"Knives out" has been a success for the Lionsgate studio, which makes it clear that drama comedy will have a sequel, reports Variety.
It is unclear what the sequel will be about, and which of the original ensemble - including Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis and Chris Evans - will return.
"Knives out" is about cover author Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) who is found dead the morning after his extravagant 85th birthday party. Detective Benoit Blanc played by Daniel Craig investigates the murder of the author. But he has to deal with Thrombey's dysfunctional family and dedicated staff to succeed in the task.
