In the Morning Studio, Agnes Lidbeck discusses the issue with Mårten Carstenfors, director of Liljevalch's art hall. She calls for a cultural-political discussion about the task of the state museums.

- What should the tax-funded museums be for? Should they be primarily educational, get many, present art and then send them out again? Or can there also be a narrower activity that can be compared to a collection of poems that has 500 readers? There might also be room for that in what we jointly pay for, says Agnes Lidbeck.

Both she and Carstenfors feel that the parents have a responsibility for their children during museum visits.

- You see the museum as a living room rather than a public room, says Mårten Carstenfors.
