The Almonte town of El Rocío not only lives its big days during the famous pilgrimage on the weekend of Pentecost Monday. Its other time of the year takes place on New Year's Eve, when this small village of just 1,500 inhabitants welcomes more than 80,000 people to take the grapes and say goodbye on the last night of the year. El Rocío, on the other hand, broke records last year with its 80,000 visitors and this year expects to repeat the figure, as explained by the councilor-delegate of the village of El Rocío to Europa Press.
