This is clarified in the report that the OECD has compiled the medical data of the member countries.

According to it, the proportion of female doctors in 36 countries is the largest in Latvia and Estonia in the three Baltic countries, 74% in Lithuania, and then 63% in Slovenia.

Japan is the least of the member countries with 21%, followed by South Korea with 23% and Luxembourg with 36%.

Japan is less than half of the average of 48%, and it is again highlighted that women's social advancement is not progressing.

In Japan, the number of students who graduated from medical school per 100,000 population is the smallest in Japan, at 6.8.

According to the report, Ireland and other countries with a high percentage of medical graduates are actively accepting foreign students from abroad and using foreign doctors.
