A 27-year-old British man has died of an insect pinch during a trip to Vietnam.
Josh Brocker was infected with staphylococcus bacteria, which quickly entered the bloodstream and caused abscesses near the spine and lungs due to an insect pinch on his head during a trip to Southeast Asia.
Doctors tried to keep Josh alive on a month-long therapeutic journey, until doctors noticed an insect pinch that inflamed the area and was transferred to intensive care but died.
