Brazilian President Jaime Bolsonaro has said he will not use the pencils of French stationery maker Peak following his dispute with French President Emmanuel Macron over the Brazilian Amazon fires.
Bolsonaro said he would sign a presidential pardon for jailed police officers, who use the pens of Brazil's Compactor, in an apparently joking statement.
The right-wing president, who faces international criticism for the devastating fires in the Amazon jungle: "I will not use Beck anymore."
Beck declined to comment on Saturday, saying only that the pens sold in Brazil were made at a factory in Manaus, Amazon.
