The police used several times Friday night in Calais (Pas-de-Calais) tear gas to disperse at least 500 "yellow vests" gathered at a roundabout giving access to the A16 motorway, found an AFP correspondent.

Between 9:00 pm and 10:30 pm, the CRS charged three times with tear gas to disperse the demonstrators, including families with children, gathered below the exchanger, 43 according to the AFP correspondent. According to the firefighters, a man was wounded in the hand after receiving a projectile while going to the fast food restaurant which is near the roundabout where the scuffles take place. Thursday night, "yellow vests" had invaded the A16 motorway in Calais, causing clashes with the police and significant disruption.
