Serbia announced attempts to stop the continuation of the "Turkish stream"

“The construction of the Turkish Stream is ongoing. And in one part it goes through Bulgaria. We are now waiting for gas from the storage in Bulgaria (reached. - RT ) to the Bulgarian border with Serbia, this is extremely important for us. But now we feel a lot of pressure, there are attempts to stop even this project, ”said Dacic.

Along with this, he noted that attempts to put pressure on Serbia “will remain unsuccessful”, the Serbian side will continue to insist on the implementation of the project.

Earlier, Serbian leader Alexander Vučić expressed hope that the country would receive the first gas from the Turkish Stream by the end of the year.

In January, Vučić estimated the country's expected annual income from participating in the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project at $ 185 million.
