Baniyas rewards his Romanian coach Isela with a two-year contract

Baniyas Football Club announced the extension of the Romanian coach Daniel Isela's contract until 2023, thus cutting the Al-Samawi administration the road to clubs that wanted to sign him after the end of the contract that binds him with the team, which ends the current season.

The club said in a statement on its official website today, Wednesday, that the renewal of the coach's contract comes based on the club and the board of directors' confidence in the Romanian coach, after the great level he presented during the season with his technical staff.

And the Romanian coach made a leap in the team's results, as it is currently ranked third in the Arab Gulf League table with 36 points, only 4 behind leaders Al-Jazira, while it narrowly exited the President's Cup semi-finals.

For his part, the coach expressed his happiness at the renewal of the contract, stressing his strong desire to be part of the sports club project and that Al-Samawi has already become his family since his first day, and said: “I want to stay for many years with this ambitious team that is in line with my aspirations to compete for championships and provide distinctive sports levels. ".

The 49-year-old coach Isila led the Romanian Astra team to achieve the Romanian and Super Roman Cups, in addition to the title of the Romanian League, and qualify for the first time in its history for the European League.

At the international level, the coach worked as an assistant coach for the first Romanian national team and coach of the Romania U-21 national team, and he also worked as a coach for the Saudi Al Hazm club.
