Rigobert Song is no longer Cameroon coach

In an interview with our colleagues from France 24, the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot), Samuel Eto'o announced that Rigobert Song, the coach of the Indomitable Lions, will no longer lead the national team.

Rigobert Song will no longer be on the bench of the Indomitable Lions.

Samuel Eto'o, president of Fecafoot, made it official on Wednesday February 28 in an exclusive interview with France 24.

He has brought a lot to this team, but the laws of football being what they are… We have not achieved our objectives, and our executive committee and I do not see ourselves renewing the contract

 », explains Samuel Eto'o.

 ,” declared Samuel Eto’o in particular.

In a letter addressed to Rigobert Song, dated February 28 and of which RFI was aware, the Ministry of Sports informed Rigobert Song of the end of his contract and its non-renewal.
