From Alsace to the Alps, the sometimes heavy rains of the night will ease quite quickly, but the sky will remain cloudy in the morning with a few showers possible.

Sharper improvement in the afternoon

In the afternoon, the improvement will be clearer, from Lorraine and Alsace to Burgundy Franche-Comté where sunny spells will appear, while from Rhône-Alpes to the Mediterranean rim, sunny periods will dominate.

Conversely, from the south of Aquitaine to Occitania, after a sunny morning, the sky will become increasingly cloudy in the afternoon.

On the other hand, on the north-western quarter of the country up to the Belgian border and the north of New Aquitaine, the conditions will remain disturbed.

From the morning, the clouds will clutter the sky with fairly frequent showers, especially near the coast where the southwest wind will blow up to 60 to 70 km / h in gusts.

Widespread rain before evening

In the afternoon, the sky will be overcast and generalized and often marked rains will settle before the evening.

This very rainy weather will be accompanied by a strengthening of the south to southwest wind, which will reach 80 to 90 km / h in gusts inland, even 100 km / h on the Breton peninsula, 100 to 110 km / h on the coast.

Minimum temperatures will range from 6 to 10 degrees in general inland, 13 to 16 on the Mediterranean coast and in Corsica.

During the day, the maximum will reach 11 to 16 degrees on the northern two-thirds, 14 to 19 degrees in the south, locally 20 to 22 on the Mediterranean rim, or even 23 in Corsica.
