According to Météo France forecasts, the sky will remain very cloudy on Wednesday over almost the entire territory with episodes of showers in Hauts-de-France, Haute Normandie, Champagne-Ardenne, Burgundy and Corsica.

From Rhône-Alpes to Alsace, the sky will remain very cloudy on Wednesday with some persistent rain during the day, while in the Jura and the Northern Alps, the rain-snow limit will be around 700 to 900 m, according to forecasts from Meteo France.

From Hauts-de-France to Upper Normandy, as far as Champagne-Ardenne and Burgundy, the morning showers will become more spaced out over the hours apart from the Seine Maritime where they will remain active.

On the Atlantic coast to the north of Midi-Pyrénées, clouds will be present and sometimes accompanied by showers near the ocean.

Orange flood vigilance will remain in place for Charente-Maritime.

Closer to the Pyrenees as well as on the Big Blue, the sun will dominate from the morning.

The clearings will then gradually gain from the South throughout the afternoon.

Showers in Corsica

In Corsica, the weather will be choppy with frequent showers.

Thunderstorms will be possible during the afternoon.

Snow is expected on reliefs from 800/1,000 m.

In the Central region, after the morning fog dissipates, the weather will be dry with beautiful sunny periods.

Tramontane and mistral will blow up to 60 to 70 km/h then weaken in the evening.

In the afternoon, the west wind will reach 70/90 km/h near the Bouches de Bonifacio.

Minimum temperatures will vary from 1 to 6 degrees, locally 0 or -1 degrees in the Ardennes or Pays de la Loire as well as near the hills.

The maximums will range between 9 and 12 degrees, between 12 and 14 degrees near the Atlantic coast, up to 13 to 17 degrees in southern Aquitaine and the Mediterranean rim.
