According to Météo France forecasts, six departments are still placed on orange alert for the risk of flooding for Monday, in the center and west of the country, while cloudy periods bringing showers and clearings will alternate throughout the territory.

Charente-Maritime, Gironde, Puy-de-Dôme, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Saône-et-Loire, Yonne will remain on orange alert for the risk of flooding.

The Gironde will also be for “waves-submersion”.

The orange flood vigilance has however been lifted in Bouches-du-Rhône and Gard, indicates the meteorological institute in its 6:00 a.m. bulletin.

On Monday, showers will be more frequent in the South-West and could take on a stormy character.

In Corsica, the risk of thunderstorms will also be possible in the morning, particularly on the western side of the island.

Temperatures between 7 to 17 degrees 

At the end of the day, showers will be rarer from Hauts-de-France towards Brittany, Pays de la Loire and Poitou-Charentes.

It will snow in the form of showers on the reliefs from 1,000 to 1,300 m.

The westerly wind will remain strong at the bottom of the Bay of Biscay and at the foot of the Pyrenees with gusts of 60/80 km/h.

The tramontana will blow in its domain with peaks of 80/90 km/h at midday.

Minimum temperatures between 2 to 7°C inland, 7 to 9°C near the coasts.

Maximum temperatures will range from 10 to 14°C, from 15 to 17°C around the Mediterranean.
