According to Météo France forecasts, the weather this Tuesday will be rainy in the north of the country and sunny in the south, mainly the southeast.

Charente-Maritime, Gironde, Puy-de-Dôme, Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Yonne are still on orange flood alert.

The weather on Tuesday will be rainy in the north of the country and sunny in the south, mainly the south-east, according to forecasts from Météo-France, which maintains five departments on orange alert.

The departments concerned by orange vigilance for significant floods are Charente-Maritime, Gironde, Puy-de-Dôme, Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Yonne.

The orange flood vigilance has however been lifted in Saône-et-Loire, indicates the meteorological institute in its 6:00 a.m. bulletin.

In Corsica, Languedoc and PACA, the sun will return in the morning, with moderate mistral and tramontane.

Everywhere else clouds will dominate.

Light rain or drizzle will circulate from the South-West to the North-East, with a rain-snow limit around 1,000 m.

Over Occitanie, they will ease and clearings will develop in the afternoon.

Near the English Channel, a new disturbance will bring light rain in the morning then shift to the north of the country in the afternoon then the North-East in the evening. 

Grayness in the West

The rain-snow limit will rise a little, around 1,200 m.

Behind, the sky will remain very cloudy.

In the West, gray weather will form in the evening and the following night in places.

Minimum temperatures will range from 4 to 7 degrees generally from North to South in the plains, up to 10 degrees by the sea. 

The maximums will vary between 11 and 15 degrees over a large northern half of the country, between 14 and 19 from the South-West to the Mediterranean regions.
