During the meeting, the two sides discussed friendship and cooperation between the two countries in various aspects, especially the parliamentary field, to keep pace with the development and growth witnessed by bilateral relations in various fields, stressing the importance of the role of parliaments in promoting communication and rapprochement between peoples and countries culturally, humanely and socially, and consolidating the culture of dialogue and spreading common human values. between different cultures and peoples.

Gerald Larcher affirmed France's pride at the official and popular levels in the relations between the two countries, and its keenness to diversify its fields and advance them to broader horizons during the next stage within the framework of the existing strategic partnership between them.

His Highness toured the halls of the Majlis, which included the main hall, the palace library and a number of facilities, during which he listened to an explanation about the history of the palace and parliamentary life in France.

His Highness wrote a speech in the register of VIPs, in which he said: “I was pleased to visit the headquarters of the French Senate in (Luxembourg Palace), this ancient historical edifice, which witnessed important events in French history, and what it also represented in the splendor of architecture and creations of human civilization.
