The President of the State receives the Crown Prince of Kuwait on the sidelines of the "Jeddah Summit for Security and Development"
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, received today, on the sidelines of the "Jeddah Summit for Security and Development" hosted by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the sisterly State of Kuwait.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, and his wishes for the UAE further progress and prosperity.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, conveyed his best regards to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his sincere wishes to Kuwait and its brotherly people for continued progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, they discussed brotherly relations between the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait and ways of developing them to serve the interests of the two countries and brotherly peoples and to enhance joint Gulf action.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues and developments of interest to the two countries.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the State, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority.
The meeting was also attended on the Kuwaiti side by Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Abdul-Wahhab Muhammad Al-Rasheed, Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment.
