Police were called to an apartment in the Östermalm district of Finspång on Wednesday evening. When police arrived, they found a 35-year-old man who sustained a wound. Police do not want to say where on the body the man is injured, but say he was conscious when he was found.
"The man was awake when he was found and the police were able to talk to him," says Åsa Willsund, press officer at the police.
According to information to Aftonbladet, the suspected perpetrator must have used an ax, but it is nothing that Åsa Willsund can neither confirm nor deny.
- Some form of attachment has been used, but at present we do not know what, she says.
The suspected perpetrator is still at large and the police have classified the incident as an attempted murder.
