On the night of the 25th, a 30-year-old Vietnamese man was stabbed in the back with a kitchen knife in an apartment in Kasukabe City, Saitama Prefecture, and was later confirmed dead. When the police questioned Thanh (24), who was living with him at the scene and was a self-proclaimed company employee of Vietnamese nationality, he said that he had stabbed Thanh (24) in the apartment with a kitchen knife that was in the room, so they suspected him of attempted murder. I was arrested.
He told investigators, ``The other person attacked me, so I resisted by waving a kitchen knife,'' and denied the charge of attempted murder.
Police will now change the suspicion to murder and investigate the details of the incident.
