During Thursday, the man who is suspected of two cases of attempted murder was re-arrested after the incident in Huskvarna where two policemen were attacked.
One of the police officers was injured by a sharp object and initially suffered life-threatening injuries.
The 35-year-old was shot in the leg during the police operation.
According to a new certificate from the Forensic Agency, serious mental disorder is suspected both at the time of the crime and when the examination was carried out.
Policeman not suspect
On Thursday, it was also announced that the Public Prosecutor's Office is closing the investigation against the policeman who shot the 35-year-old.
The prosecutor believes that the policeman used his firearm to ward off violence and that it was justifiable given the circumstances.
Therefore, the policeman is considered to have committed no crime.
