It was on November 2 last year that a 30-year-old man died after several stab wounds in the back on Levertinsgatan in the Uppsala neighborhood of Gränby. Four men, three of them brothers, were later charged with murder. Shots were also fired at the scene but no one hit the victim.
Today came the verdict where Uppsala District Court decided to adjudicate
The evidence in the case has previously been discussed and referred to as weak and criticism has been directed against it by attorney Leif Ericksson, who represents the suspected man who has no relationship with the others in this case.
"I think the evidence is defective and that it cannot convict my client," he previously told SVT News Uppsala.
