Invited in the new issue of Christophe Dechavanne's podcast, Laurent Ruquier was very critical of the artists who participate every year in the Enfoirés concert. The host believes that the event serves all these stars more than the cause they defend...

Laurent Ruquier never looks forward to the Enfoirés concert event for the benefit of the Restos du Cœur. Passing through the new issue of Christophe Dechavanne's podcast, the host of Les Grosses Têtes and Enfants de la télé invited to give his opinion on the unmissable events of the small screen, including this famous show.

"I think it's more useful to artists than the other way around"

"It's good all these meals that are distributed to people who need them. But basically, I think it's a shame that it's not the state that takes care of this. And in addition, I find that it serves artists more than the other way around. When Goldman does that, I obviously have no problem. But he really doesn't need that," Ruquier said.

The former presenter of the cult show On n'est pas couché then quoted a shocking sentence from Pierre Desproges, pronounced by the comedian in 1986: "I find that there is an obscenity to show his charity to all passers-by as one shows his ass!". Laurent Ruquier fully shares this opinion: "Like Desproges when he criticizes the Restos du Cœur, I am exactly of the same opinion as him".

"I don't think they bring much to the ceremony"

Hugo Manos' companion believes that "acts of generosity" must be carried out "discreetly". "I don't want to post a list of what I do or what I don't do (...) Everyone does as he feels and as he wants, me, I am not for this kind of display, "he assured Christophe Dechavanne.

The former accomplice of Léa Salamé in On est en direct is especially not convinced by the presence of some artists at the concert: "I do not think they bring much to the ceremony. There are some, it is more they who need to be exposed to the Enfoirés. I won't give a name because I don't want to hurt anyone." That's what it says!
