Recently, the Tuoketuo County section of Inner Mongolia, which is located at the dividing point of the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River, has steadily entered the river opening period, and some sections of the river have lost bank ice.

At present, the ice has not completely melted, and the water level at the interface of the Kaihe River is stable, and the water level is slowly falling.

In order to ensure the safety of the Yellow River, Tuoketuo County has stepped up embankment inspections on key river sections, so as to keep abreast of the river situation and water conditions.

It is understood that Tuoketuo County has invested a total of about 270 million yuan to build a 22-kilometer flood control dam and a 14.4-kilometer revetment project. It is estimated that the flow of flood control control can reach 5,900 cubic meters per second.
