One of the buildings of the University Hospital of Limoges (Haute-Vienne) was affected by a flood overnight from Sunday to Monday.

A pipe rupture occurred around midnight and several rooms in the operating theater were then unusable, reports France Bleu Limousin.

The hospital was thus forced to postpone around thirty operations, but no patient transfer was necessary.

Firefighters arrived on Monday morning.

A return to normal was expected on Tuesday.
