Egypt and the UAE..a solid relationship

Egypt occupied a special place for the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and he realized from the beginning that the position of Egypt in the Arab nation is like placing the heart in the body, pumping blood and providing it with the means of life. The relationship, and its strengthening and consolidation, regardless of who succeeded in ruling Egypt, as for him it was the dear icon for the Arab nation in general, and for the Emirates under its leadership and people in particular.
Starting with the era of leaders Abdel Nasser, through Sadat and ending with Hosni Mubarak, Sheikh Zayed was keen to provide all assistance to the brothers in Egypt out of commitment and responsibility, and his famous saying during the Glorious October War of 1973 was “Arab oil is not more precious than Arab blood”, where he stopped pumping oil, as a pressure card. To assist in the war effort, and provided aid to purchase arms, as a beacon to future generations.
Sheikh Zayed built agricultural and land reclamation projects, built residential cities, established many tourist villages, and provided support and funding to medical centers and hospitals that still bear his name.
On the other hand, the delegations of teachers, engineers and doctors flocked to the Emirates, based on the historical Egyptian role in support of the Arab nation and the UAE.
The late him expressed these positions in a saying that serves as a will and a platform for his sons after him, where he mentioned “Egypt’s renaissance is a renaissance for all Arabs, and I have advised my sons to always be on the side of Egypt.”
After Zayed's departure, the UAE did not stop supporting and participating, and the children carried out the father's will, and did not abandon their role in helping Egypt, which was on a date with revolution and change on June 30, 2013, so the UAE provided aid to the people who loved Zayed.
Here it is necessary to refer to the “Emirati grant” provided by the UAE to support its sister Egypt at the beginning of the Sisi era, which covered various economic aspects, in appreciation of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed of the importance of Egypt being strong in all fields, in order to launch into wider horizons in the midst of a world It is witnessing rapid changes, in order to remain a protective shield that protects its national security and the interests of its Arab nation.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, "may God protect him", sought to strengthen the relationship and consolidate it further, based on the constants and common interests of the two brotherly peoples. During the past few years, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi visited many times, emphasizing the importance of strengthening work. The common Arab and the unity of the Arab ranks in the face of challenges in the Arab region.
During these years, the friendship relations between His Highness and His Excellency Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi acquired a very special character, which usually appears during meetings and mutual visits to both countries. The UAE and Egypt are historical and strategic, and there is a common will to strengthen and develop them to serve the two peoples.
In conclusion, Egypt was and will remain dear to the hearts of all Emiratis and Arabs, as it has never been late in performing its historical role in defending the Arabs and their interests in the face of their enemies and the dangers facing them, and it does not skimp on providing everything necessary to preserve this message.
