"My

" (Il ragazzo e la tigre)

The adventure film "My Tiger" directed by Brando Quilici tells the story of two orphans: a boy named Balmani and a tiger cub.

After the loss of his parents, Balmani runs away from the shelter and soon stumbles upon poachers who killed a Bengal tigress and imprisoned a tiger cub in a cage.

The boy saves the animal and names his new friend Mukti.

Together, Balmani and Mukti will pass through many obstacles to reach a Buddhist monastery high in the mountains, known as "Tiger's Nest", where monks protect wild animals.

The tape will take the viewer out of reality to the grassy plains of Nepal and the snowy Himalayas.

According to Dove, the idea to make the film came to the director back in 2015, when he learned about the WWF Save Tigers Now program (“Save the tigers now”).

At that moment, Kuilichi realized that he had to make a film that would be aimed at a young audience and highlight the problem of the extinction of tigers in it.

There was an earthquake in Nepal before filming.

It destroyed Kathmandu and devastated many parts of the country.

As a result of these terrible events, Kuilichi met Maggie Doyne, the head of an association that provides shelter for single mothers and orphaned children.

In the company of Doyne and the survivors, the director spent several days and realized that in a planned story about protecting the environment and animals, he could also tell about the fate and strength of Nepalese children.
