In late October, the Momoge National Nature Reserve, located in Lai County, Baicheng City, Jilin Province, ushered in the peak of migratory bird migration.

Among them, the number of oriental white storks is nearly 2,000, a new high in decades.

In the past few days, the Zhenlai County Government, the reserve, the forest public security and the flight guard volunteers have continued to strengthen the patrol force to ensure the safety of migratory birds.

The oriental white stork does not chirp, but the upper and lower beaks tap each other to transmit a "da-da" sound similar to hitting a bamboo tube to transmit signals.
