Shock in New York … a famous “boutique” that all its luxury brands are fake

The American police closed a luxury store, after it became clear that its expensive goods belonging to international brands were nothing but counterfeit goods, which shocked those dealing with this famous store.

The police said in a statement that the value of the goods discovered in a well-known boutique was approximately $40 million from Prada, Dior, Chanel and Louis Vuitton items.

The Long Island-area boutique's owner has been accused of trademark counterfeiting in connection with millions of dollars worth of counterfeit products.

CBS New York reported this week that 31-year-old Lindsay Castelli has been charged with fraud and fraud after an 18-month multi-agency investigation.

Police said Castelli was arrested last week and charged with second-degree trademark counterfeiting.

She is then scheduled to appear in court on November 2.

Meanwhile, the social media pages of the closed store appear to have been removed.

The authorities confirmed that "thousands" of fake heat-sealed posters were discovered, and a total of 22 printing machines were found, in addition to many fakes of familiar and expensive international names, including Prada, Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and others.

“The total value of the confiscations was more than $40 million,” a local police representative said in a press release issued on Tuesday, adding that further investigation led to the discovery that the counterfeit goods had also been shipped to locations across the country.
