FIFA announces a competition.. and the prize is a free trip to the World Cup

The International Football Association "FIFA" announced the launch of a campaign entitled "Put your dreams in the spotlight" in cooperation with 8 artists from different parts of the world during the tour of the original version of the World Cup.

FIFA is working with these eight creators to invite fans to create artwork featuring their perceptions of the original World Cup trophy before its launch.

"Fans and fans can send their creations via Instagram or Twitter, so that the judges choose the 16 best artworks from them," FIFA said on its official website today.

The first place winner in this competition will get a free trip to the World Cup in Qatar, and many prizes will be distributed to other creators.

FIFA launched a committee of local artists who gathered from different parts of the world to contribute to the “Put Your Dreams in the Spotlight” campaign, with the aim of highlighting young talents and stories that have not yet seen the light of day, as well as heroes who have been overwhelmed by time inside and outside the world of football.

The creative committee consists of Argentine Lou Sedova, Canadian Victor Mosquera, Mexican Fred Rueda, Americans Ashley Dreyfus and Gabi Goult and Qatari Jaber Hanzab.

Colin Smith, Executive Director of FIFA World Cup Operations, said: “We are delighted that these talented local artists have joined us and have seen them as an integral part of the campaign during the original FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour and as the biggest tournament on Earth, it is an opportunity to engage everyone in the world of football. They help people unleash their dreams through art, culture and beautiful game.”
