The 'Seoul World Fireworks Festival 2022' will be held today (8th) at Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul.

The theme of this event, co-hosted by Hanwha and SBS, is 'We Hope Again'.

The festival starts at 7pm.

Following the Japanese team at 7:20 and the Italian team at 7:40, the Korean team will perform a fire show from 8:00.

The Japanese team will express 'sky full of hope', and the Italian team will express 'hymn for the earth'.

The Korean team Hanwha prepared a theme for 'We Hope Again, Counting the Stars'.

The city of Seoul said today that it expects 1 million people to flock to the Yeouido area and will control nearby roads and increase subway and bus service.

We control Yeoui-dong Road and Yeoui Upstream IC near the event site, and jointly crack down on vehicles that violate parking and stopping on the Han River Bridge and surrounding roads.

Subway lines 5 and 9 are extended before and after the event time, and Line 5 Yeouinaru Station does not stop when the platform is full.

The bus will detour 19 routes passing through Yeoui-dong-ro, a controlled section, and will increase 73 routes on 26 nearby routes in time for the return trip.
