On September 20, the reporter walked into Maopu Village, Zhouhe Township, Xinxian County, Henan Province, an ancient village located deep in the Dabie Mountains.
There are ancient bridges and creeks in front of the village, and the mountains behind the village are dense with bamboos. The "Han-Huang Ancient Road" passes through the village.
Since 2012, Maopu Village has comprehensively developed and utilized resources such as mountains, water, forests, fields and houses, and has developed rural tourism and e-commerce relying on core resources such as ancient dwellings and "Hanhuang Ancient Road".
Today's Maopu Village has changed from what it used to be, and has become a beautiful village in the Dabie Mountains. Many villagers who have gone out to work have also begun to return to their hometowns to start businesses.
