[Explanation] Recently, the 22nd Pingyao International Photography Exhibition is being held in the ancient city of Pingyao, Shanxi.

In the main exhibition area of the photography exhibition, the special exhibition "6:30 in the morning" attracted many audiences.

[Explanation] The exhibition was shot by photographer Wang Guoqing in China's labor market. After five years of shooting, it recorded part of the daily life of migrant workers, showing the diligent and kind nature of migrant workers.

[Concurrent] Fan Liyan, curator of the special exhibition "6:30 in the morning"

"6:30 in the morning" has two meanings. The first meaning is from the concept of time. The normal time of the labor market is from 6:30 to 7:30. After that, the market does not exist.

Another concept is that from a human point of view, early morning is the hope of a day, so for all working people, this time node is very important for his day or even his whole life.

[Commentary] Since 2018, Wang Guoqing has set off at 5:00 every morning to go to the market to shoot. In nearly 5 years, he has taken nearly 200,000 photos.

It has been nearly 5 years since I started doing this feature filming in 2018. During these 5 years, I have shot 200,000 films. Every day, I insist on being on time and on time. I arrive at the labor market for filming. stopped.

[Explanation] In the special exhibition, Wang Guoqing introduced the story behind each photo to the visitors.

This photo is of this migrant worker. He is a skilled worker. The migrant workers in the market include big workers, small workers, skilled workers, and professional workers. After he finds a job, he will go to the market to find some helpers to follow him. Going to work, judging from the tools on site, he is doing demolition work on concrete floors. When he is looking for people, first, he is looking for people who have done this kind of work and have professional skills.

Second, for their labor remuneration, both parties must reach a tacit understanding and agree to go.

So I was standing behind his car and stared at him intently, watching every moment of them, and while they were concentrating on talking, I grabbed a point in time and clicked the shutter to get this image.

[Commentary] In the next step, Wang Guoqing will continue to record the daily life of Chinese migrant workers with cameras in the Chinese labor market.

At this point in time, I recorded their actual image characteristics on the scene. I think this subject matter is very necessary. It is not just an image, but it will be a document, a record, it will be Filling a gap in history, although I am not doing very well now, but through this exhibition, it may greatly improve my future creations, I think I will continue to persevere.
